Daiquiri

(Regular, with mint & pineapple, guava, strawberry)

Another Cuban special, the Daiquiri was supposedly invented about 1900 in a bar named Venus in Santiago, by a group of American mining engineers. Originally the drink was served in a tall glass packed with cracked ice; nowadays the Daiquiri is mixed in a shaker. Daiquiri’s are made up of three main ingredients light rum, lime juice and sugar syrup. CJC also serves with a choice of mint, pineapple, guava and strawberry.
