House Rules
Keeping it simple and laid back is our motto, so to ensure all our regulars, guests and new comers enjoy the CJC experience to its fullest the following ‘common sense’ house rules are in place.

1. Reservations necessary. Given our limited space, we can only host so many guests. Therefore it’s advisable to make a reservation as early as possible either by calling our reservation numbers +202 3345 9939; +20 10 6880 4764 between 5-10pm, the last chance to reserve is by 10pm the day before. Please note that, while we'll try to hold on to your reservation for as long as possible, we may be obliged to cancel reservations that are more than 30 minutes late. Also, we may not be able to host more guests than specified in the reservation.

2. Strictly couples only. History tells us that too much testosterone proved to be a destructive force. In-order to ensure a comfortable gender ratio, we have to insist on mixed groups and a couples only policy.

3. Minimum entry age 25. CJC is a venue for mature adults who enjoy the company of similarly mature adults. Not to mention that we are actively against underage drinking. Official identification will be required upon entry (no student cards, fake ID's, etc will be accepted).

4. Doors close at full capacity. If we are busting out of the seams then are obliged to close our doors until the crowds lessen. It is uncomfortable to be further than full capacity. Rubbing shoulders all night can be uncomfortable so we opt for guests to have a little more boogie space.

Disclaimer: Please note that house rules apply also on confirmed reservations. Any reserved guests who do not meet the standards or regulations of the Cairo Jazz Club will be refused entry at the door.
Your cooperation is most appreciated.

Please note that online reservations are not allowed for Wednesdays and Fridays.
