stage hosts 4 - 6 nites of live music every week. the artists change.
but each nite has acquired its own flavour:
SATURDAY L'ORIENTALE
oriental classics performed with hi-quality
musicianship and a fresh spirit. features our resident up-beat ensemble
KHAMSA TAKHT, along with guest appearances on selected saturdays. (belly
dancer not included!) show starts 9.30pm
JAZZ SUNDAY
our tribute to the jazz greats of old (and not so old!). jazz classics
performed by cairo's best, with as many interpretations as there are
bands. "jazz sunday" is where you can see the likes of regular
performers RIFF QUINTET and JAZZ PROJECT. show starts 9.30pm
LIVE
TUESDAY & THURSDAY
diverse offerings of hi-energy styles & moods. from oriental jazz
originals to rock n roll covers. and many of our more eclectic bands
in between. YEHYA KHALIL plays the first thursday of every month. show
starts 10.30pm
alongside
these regular live nites, we sometimes feature performances on:

mondays are reserved for special events, such as one-time projects and
visiting artists. it's also the nite we host guest chefs and culinary
events. but that's another story :)
